CSI Diocese in Coimbatore founded the college on 20th of September 1995.It was named Bishop Appasamy College of Arts and Science after the first Bishop in Coimbatore Diocese. Amrita School of Engineering, Bangalore started in 2002 as "Amrita Institute of Technology & Science" with a vision to produce quality engineers with service attitude for the benefit of the society and nation.
